At the Royal Surrey County Hospital our end of day administration closes all prescriptions except those pending for the next day. As we keep our To-Follows prescriptions separately these are forced to completion at the end of the day rather than kept open. These prescriptions are then scanned as usual once the items are in stock.

Do any other pts users do this differently? e.g. are your to-follow duties covered by scanning a 'to-follows'/ 'final checking to-follows' activity barcode?

Does anyone else use the Outpatient ticket printing sytem?

Our average waiting times are skewed each time we process Outpatient to-follows. I created a new prescription type 'Outpatient Non-urgent' and will test converting any to-follows to this prescription type. Does anyone else have experience with this?
