16 MAY 2011 10:40:18Yes this is possible. If you find the Comms Client folder in Program Files and make a copy of it then the copy can run at the same time as the original, with its own configuration. All you need to do is make sure you give the executable a different name (even though they are in different folders).

17 MAY 2011 16:22:04Thank you Marc. I assume that in addition to this we need to follow the instructions in the manual on adding additional scanners?
Also I am given to understand that we do not have the latest version installed. What do I need to tell my ICT support to do to perform an upgrade?

18 MAY 2011 12:29:34Everything you need should be in the Downloads & Updates section, including instructions. The update is fairly technical, so only give the job to someone you trust! ;-)

Can the scanners be configured to audibly notify the user of a sequence error scan?

13 MAY 2024 11:37:41Hi James,
Compatible scanners already do this and the PC also plays an error sound (when the volume is turned up). Some scanner models don't have the facility to play customised tones.
