Hi all. As we are getting close to the relaunch of our ICE application (formerly HSS) I thought I'd post a little breakdown of the system to refresh your memories.

ICE is designed to provide organisations with an easy to use management tool for their cleaning operations.

Whilst originally developed for hospitals, private organisations and local government alike have benefited from the use of ICE in evaluating the cost and effectiveness of cleaning in their facilities.

As inspections are carried out, your inspectors will use a special PDA which not only records the condition of each individual item at a location but also ensures the inspection was correctly carried out with the use of the built-in barcode reader and door mounted barcodes.

The collected data can then be used by management to remedy any faults found by the inspection or produce reports of the consolidated inspection data. Not only that, ICE can utilise Standard Minute Values provided by and compliant with NHS cleaning standards to evaluate how much a room costs to clean based on it's risk factor and cleaning frequency.

We'll have more information and a proper product page for ICE in the next few months when a trial of the release candidate at Bognor Regis War Memorial hospital will conclude.
